SPECIFICATION OF THE PRINT ARRANGEMENT OF THE PROJECT
Following the below mentioned advices will facilitate the work of our graphics, fasten the arrangements for the file print and eliminate the risk of mistakes.
- The best type of file to send projects is PDF
- We also process files in the format of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design
- Files should be saved in colors: CMYK+Pantone
- Texts in the project should be changed into curves (vectors graphic)
- You should attach the files of the character used in the project
- If the project contains pictures, they should be attached to the file of the project
- The optimum resolution of pictures is 300 dpi
- If bleeds are required they should be inserted in the project
- It is essential to specify on what kind of material the project is supposed to be printed: what color (white, colored, transparent) and type of surface (PE foil, PP foil, matt paper, gloss paper, thermal paper) are concerned
- Essential elements of the project such as logo, address, telephone number, texts should be placed not closer than 2 mm from the label edge.
INFORMATION CONCERNING FLEXOGRAPHIC INK
· Inks by Flint, Flexocure series, fixed with UV lamps. They allow gaining a high saturation, contrast and glance of print.
Water inks by Flint, Thermokett and Hidrokett series, fixed with IR lamps. They are the equivalent of flexographic inks; the print we gain is slightly matt and less saturated as far as the pigment is concerned.
INFORMATION CONCERNING MATERIALS
[answering to the following questions will help us choosing the most suitable product]
- What kind of label? (permanent, removable, open-close…)
- What is the top material? (paper, PP, PE, PET,…)
- Smooth or rugged surface?
- Clean surface or dusty, humid…
- What are the conditions of labeling? Surrounding temperature, labeled surface temperature, the relative humidity during printing
- Is resistance to the sun light required?
- On which surface? (smooth surface, rugged surface, cylindric surface: if it is cylindric, what is the diameter of the package?
- Is the package rigid or squeezable?
- What kind of application? ( manual, automatic, blow…)
